First ensure the firearm is on safe and unlooaded with no ammunition present.  

1. Wet Patch: Pull an Otis patch saturated with CLP through the bore from Breech-to-Muzzle®

2. Bore Brush: Pull a bore bronze or nylon bore brush through your barrel from Breech-to-Muzzle®

3. Dry Patch: Pull a dry Otis patch through the bore from Breech-to-Muzzle®
